Description

Product details

A high performance anaerobic thread sealant which is designed for the locking and sealing of threaded pipes and fittings, while easing assembly due to lubricating action of added PTFE. It is packed into a unique ‘concertina’ pack which gives easy application in even the most restricted areas. The product is resistant to water, fuel, oils and most commonly encountered industrial fluids.


Application areas

Delta D506 is recommended for industrial and automotive applications where a seal is required for threaded components. Can be used on air brake systems, water pipes, oil fuel and most commonly encountered industrial fluids. The cured product gives resistance to pressure, vibration, shock and extremes of temperature


Technical data

White high viscosity paste, high strength, service temp -50°C to +150°C, gap fill up tp 0.30mm


Directions of use

Surfaces should be dry, clean and free of any contamination. Apply 360° bead of the product to the leading threads of the male fitting, leave the first thread free. Force the material into the threads and voids, adjust product amount accordingly and apply 360° bead of product on the female threads also. Assemble and tighten as required.
