Product details

Delta D88 is a low viscosity, high strength anaerobic retaining compound, designed to permanently bond rigid engineering assemblies. It has a higher temperature resistance than other anaerobic compounds can be used where a heat build-up is expected. Used for retaining bushings and sleeves on housings or shafts, bearings, keys and splines. Increases the overall strength of any mechanical assembly.


Application areas

DELTA retaining compounds secure cylindrical parts, bearings and bushes into housings or on to shafts. They are applied as a liquid and form 100% contact between metal surfaces allowing uniform load and stress distribution and eliminating the need for machining or other mechanical methods


Technical data

High strength and temperature grade. Colour: Green. Viscosity: Low/Medium. Service Temperature Range: -55 to +200°c. Handling Time: 60 minutes at ambient conditions. Full Cure: 24 hours.


Directions of use

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free of grease/contamination. Apply adhesive to one surface and assemble. Ensure any adhesive out side the joint is cleaned away
