Product details

• VHT TOPCOAT give ultimate protection up to 800°
• Proves extremely sucessful for treated and untreated surfaces exposed to very high temperatures
• It is suitable for use on flues and pipework
• It can be sprayed onto bare metal without the need to prime first
• Heat resistant up to 800°c
• Good coverage and filling properties
• Excellent adhesion to steel, mild steel and aluminium
• Resistant to petrol, chemicals and weather

• Storage stability - 10 years if appropriate storage provided - 10°-25°C, humidity max. 60%)
• Size - 400ml aerosol
• VOC content - 658g/lt
• Drying times @ 20°c :
• Touch Dry - 5 - 10 minutes
• Dry to Handle - 10 - 15 minutes
• Re-coat - After 30 - 60 minutes


Directions of use

• Remove dirt, grease, oil, loose rust and all other surface contaminants by appropriate means. Sand intact coatings to provide a proper key for adhesion
• Do not apply any primer
• Shake aerosol for at least two minute after the agitator ball is free
• Shake aerosol during use
• Apply at a distance of 25 cm from the treatment area
• Apply several thin coats allowing for a 5 - 10 mins flash off between coats
• Allow coating to dry at room temperature for 60 minutes. Then, heat for 30 - 60 minutes at 180°c to harden the paint layer
• After use turn aerosol upside down and empty valve for 2 - 3 seconds
